Blood, sweat and shared beers with family and friends went into the construction of Willie the Boatman’s, half brewery, half boathouse, giving it an inimitable feeling of neighbourhood spirit. Most beers are named after friends and Temple locals, including former Deputy PM Anthony Albanese. Upcycled furniture and repurposed dairy equipment turned brewery speak testament to the ingenuity and practicality of the brewers, something that’s very much reflected in their beers.
You must try: Albo Corn Ale, now officially endorsed by the man himself.
